A penny does not buy much in Bloomington-Normal, but in Afghanistan and Pakistan a penny can open up opportunities for a child. Look for stray pennies, nickels or dimes in your couch, your car, or your coats. Those pennies, nickels and dimes will do wonderful things for others. Pennies for Peace is an organization dedicated to building a peaceful world starting in the midst of a terrorist producing region of the world. Please help!

Pennies for Peace – How can a penny bring peace? It does not buy much in our community. However, in the villages of Pakistan and Afghanistan, a penny can buy a pencil, start an education, and transform a life! In a place where terrorist organizations recruit uneducated, illiterate children, that pencil can give a child the power to read, write, and learn. Please make a donation tomorrow to the pennies for peace container in the school store. Thank you for your help.
