Congratulations to Emilee Gibson, Austin Jones, Cayla Cardamone, and Claire Coppersmith. These 4 Chiddix students will be laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington D.C. this Sunday. This exact same ceremony will be repeated by President Obama the next day. Chiddix is very proud of Emilee, Austin, Cayla, and Claire. These 4 students should see Mr. Porter as soon as they can.

Congratulations to the Chiddix Track and Field team who competed in sectionals this past Saturday. Chiddix qualified nineteen athletes in twelve events for the state meet this week in East Peoria! The 8th grade girls and 7th grade boy’s teams placed second out of fourteen teams at sectionals! Congratulations on a fantastic season and good luck to all of the state-bound athletes!
